Description

Quick Strawberry puff pastry bites are a great way to satisfy your pastry cravings with low calories. Perfect if you are following a weight loss plan or counting calories.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g puff pastry block
  • 30 g low-fat quark
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries

Instructions

  1. Take the puff pastry block out of the fridge and thaw as per the instructions.
  2. Roll the block into a thin sheet and cut into desire shapes.
  3. Bake for 15 min at 180C or follow the instructions on the pastry block cover.
  4. Allow them to cool down and spoon in some quark.
  5. Top up with your favourite fruit like berries or even bananas.

Notes

The pastry should be rolled as thin as possible as we are trying to save calories per serve. So go mean on them and roll thin.

You could also blend the quark with some fruit like banana to make it sweeter naturally.
